The 4 NYC Sample Sales I Think Are Actually Worth Visiting This Week

There are a lot of sample sales happening in New York this week, but if I were telling a friend where to actually spend their time, these are the four I would mention first: Issey Miyake, Retrofête, ATM, and Sandy Liang.

Not every sale on a packed calendar is worth rearranging your day for. Some are good in theory, some are worth a quick stop if you are nearby, and then there are the ones that stand out because the brand is strong, the product is desirable, or the sale feels especially relevant right now.

These are my personal picks for the week of March 23 to 29, 2026.

1. Issey Miyake Sample Sale

Location: 45 West 25th Street, New York
Dates: Wednesday through Saturday
Hours: 10 AM to 7 PM
Format: In person

This is one of the strongest names on the calendar this week and easily one of the most fashion-forward stops. Issey Miyake is the kind of sale that stands out because the brand carries real design credibility. If you are looking for pieces that feel distinctive, artistic, and worth remembering, this is one I would prioritize.

For anyone who follows fashion beyond the obvious names, this is the sale that immediately catches your attention.

2. Retrofête & SER.O.YA Sample Sale

Location: 231 West 29th Street, Suite 401, New York
Dates: Thursday through Friday
Hours: 10 AM to 7 PM
Additional hours: Saturday 10:30 AM to 6 PM, Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM
Format: In person

If your wardrobe needs something fun, this is the sale I would put on the list. Retrofête is the kind of brand people go to when they want a statement piece, a night out look, or something with a little more energy.

This is not the practical, quiet luxury stop of the week. This is the one for people who want fashion to feel exciting.

3. ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo Sample Sale

Location: 30 Central Park South, PH, New York
Date: Thursday
Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM
Format: In person

ATM is one of my picks because not every great sample sale has to be about trend-driven pieces. Sometimes the sales worth going to are the ones where you can find elevated basics and wardrobe staples that you will actually wear.

If Issey Miyake is for the fashion person and Retrofête is for the statement dresser, ATM is the one I would look at for clean, wearable pieces that make sense in real life.

4. Sandy Liang Sample Sale

Location: 41 Division Street, Ground Floor, New York
Dates: Thursday through Sunday
Hours: 12 PM to 8 PM
Format: In person

Sandy Liang is one of the most naturally buzzworthy sales on this week’s calendar. The brand has a very specific point of view and a loyal following, which is exactly why this one stands out.

This is the sale I would associate with the downtown fashion crowd. It has name recognition, a strong aesthetic, and the kind of appeal that makes people genuinely want to go.

My Take

If you asked me which sample sales are actually worth visiting this week, these would be my four:
Issey Miyake, Retrofête, ATM, and Sandy Liang.

They each offer something different, which is what makes this list stronger:

  • Issey Miyake for fashion credibility
  • Retrofête for fun pieces
  • ATM for elevated basics
  • Sandy Liang for downtown appeal

A packed calendar is one thing, but knowing which sales are worth your energy is something else entirely.
